Hi, I am Marie — an editorial and documentary photographer, former Olympian, flight attendant and visual storyteller currently based in Munich and available worldwide.
After retiring from professional swimming, photography became a new way for me to observe movement, emotion and human connection. Years of elite sports shaped the way I work today: with discipline, sensitivity, adaptability and the ambition to create meaningful visual storytelling with depth and intention.
Constant movement has become a defining part of my life. My work as a flight attendant brings me between cities, cultures and perspectives, shaping the way I see, think and feel about the world. Being internationally flexible allows me to approach portrait, event, travel and documentary photography with openness, curiosity and a strong sensitivity for atmosphere and authentic moments.
Having moved frequently throughout my life, I learned how to arrive in unfamiliar places, connect with new environments and find belonging through observation. I love discovering the streets, rhythms and people of every new city I call home — documenting spaces, faces and emotions through a cinematic editorial perspective.
Alongside photography, I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Psychology, expanding my understanding of perception, human behavior and how brands emotionally connect with people. Through experiences working with brands and creative environments such as OMR, I developed a strong understanding of visual communication, authentic brand storytelling and modern content creation.
Over the past years, I have worked across portrait photography, event photography, sports storytelling, architecture photography, travel photography and UGC content creation for brands, companies and personal projects. This diverse background allows me to adapt naturally to different people, environments and creative challenges while always creating a calm and trusting atmosphere.
